Overview

This top-up degree is designed for people working or volunteering within the early years sector who are keen to develop a deeper understanding of their work, including leadership in children’s centres and child welfare.

Building on your Foundation Degree or previous experience, the degree focuses on the interaction between professional practice, work-based research and current policy within the sector.

Part-time study allows you to fit study alongside work and family commitments. You’ll be taught by friendly, supportive staff, experienced in working with adult learners and with substantial professional experience in the sector. Our student support service offers advice and guidance, academic skills support, welcome events and social events throughout your studies.
