MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY COURSE(tailoreddegree course for Ghana needs)

• In our Open University program we will build complete medical Technology center and clinic for our medical Technology students and also real clinic for our students. Each campus will have one.Remember our program is entrepreneurship and practical orient.

This Medical Technology center and clinic will have following:

-x-ray machines

-Pregnancy scan machines

-Community nursing facilities

-Baby and child growth monitoring facilities.

-Ambulance service (real modern ambulances from our technical support partners abroad)

-Mobile clinic big bus to support rural health care and to train our students

COMMUNITY MEDIA COURSE (Tailored degree course. For Ghana needs.

 

In our community Media course

-We will develop local community TV

-We will develop community radio

-We will train our students on practical community journalism. These will be at districts’ level and can help bring out many local needs and problems and discussions on how to solve them. These our media houses will be used to train our students to analyze monitor:

 

1. Community development and also what is lacking

 

2. Be eyes for community health needs.

 

3. Increase news surveillance to reduce crime.

 

4. We will bring towns and village chiefs to limelight and promote positive community governance.

 

5. We will help in local community developments and support local chiefs development efforts.

 

6. We will locate our community media students on practical terms to village communities to foster news and community educational information vending. (Health education etc.)

 

7. We will build a complex news flow network from district levels and relay to national levels and vice versa, to promote and improve citizens’ knowledge to their local rural communities. The main problem in Africa’s development is polarization. Either you are counted in or counted out. A lot, especially the rural folks are being forgotten. Everything is located in the cities and that is not the best. After all the income of all African nations come from the rural folks and they also deserve the best.
